Warm Up.

Hey Folkers!
Tuesday night, Justin and I got our first drop by visit. Nick (from Nicko vs. Wild) and his buddy Tyler ended up in the area. They were out scouting the mighty Swan Creek. I drove by Swan yesterday and thought "Man! Look how deep it is!", but Nick and Tyler are hoping and praying for a down-pour before the weekend because they want Swan to be a little more ravid...shows how much I know about kayaking.
Sunday I got a hammock! Monday it was hung gloriously in the back yard. Tuesday I napped most the day (One of the first things out of my mouth when Nick and Tyler showed up was 'Hey. How's it going? I GOT A HAMMOCK!') Tuesday night I unfurled my sleeping bag and slept in my awesome hammock until about 4am when something scurried out of the woods, causing a riot with the dogs. Man..I love my hammock.
Also on Tuesday we got a new dog. He was accident. Dad's "Prize Squirrel Dog" got knocked up by my aunt and uncle's border collie. My sister named him Baxter (He smells of mahogany and many leather bound books.). He looks like my aunt and uncle's border collie except that instead of being black and white, he's smokey and white and has a tan paw. One year at the greatest fesitval of them all, Farm Fest, I saw a fella that trained border collies for herding. I believe the trainer trained the dogs in German and they were herding ducks that day. So, needless to say, I have high hopes for Bax. All I need is to learn a few key German phrases, the patience of the Lord God Almighty and a few ducks.
Oh-my folk's other dog, Sammy, just had nine pups. Nine. They are border collie and cur (mut). So-if you would LOVE a mut of your own, I know the perfect place to go.
Later!

yo, we did Swan this weekend, it was good, it could have used a little more water, but it was still fun. Have fun in your hammock.
