The Short Life of Bax
Hey Guys!
Baxter got hit by a car last night and entered into dog heaven where all things are raw hide and cats don't swat back. He wasn't the brightest dog, but he was still real young. Where we live isn't the greatest place to train a dog to stay out of the road.
Our pond is FULL of frog eggs. I saw four pairs of frogs doin' the dirty yesterday! Some of the frog eggs are in a big ball about the size of a softball and then some are curly-q-ed and black. I thought something had gone terribly awry with the pond. However, after a few minutes of critical thinking, I put two and two together.
I finished reading The Old Man and The Sea by Ernest Hemingway. I know what you're thinking, "Wow Kas! Ernet Hemingway? That means...you were reading a classic novel!" My response would be, "No biggie! The book was only 93 pages long and it took me about two weeks to read it because I kept falling asleep." So, now I know you all envy my intellect. The only reason I read The Old Man and The Sea is because I notice it at Bass Pro all the time and thought "As intimidating as Ernest Hemingway is, I'm gonna read this here book from front to back and become more learned." Actually, nothing has changed; I'm still the same artard from before this book. Oh, and in case you were wondering, it was a good book.
Later!
